Southwark has the 3rd highest HIV prevalence in the country and I commissioned a report into HIV and sexual health locally to help tackle stigma, raise awareness and to continue working for better access to healthcare.

Thanks to improvements in treatment, including PrEP trialled in our borough, testing positive for HIV can now mean a long and healthy life with the right support.
But more needs to be done to address barriers to healthcare, including tackling the extreme NHS waiting lists we see after 14 years of Tory mismanagement.
