Sadly, the Tories have consistently failed our Armed Forces, despite their massive majority and promising no cuts to personnel. They said themselves that they have ‘hollowed out and underfunded’ our Armed Forces over the last 13 years. Now, despite increasing threats and growing Russian aggression and instability, the Tories are reducing the Army to its smallest size since Napoleon.

Minsters should give our Armed Forces the support that they need and deserve.

I am deeply proud of our Armed Forces, including the contribution of my own grandad (pictured) in WWII, who participated in the D-day landings and liberation of Bergen-Belsen.
