The Tory Government claims to care about ‘levelling up’ but is abandoning London despite our high levels of child poverty.
‘Magic Breakfast’ do great work in Southwark schools to help local kids, including at Keyworth, Robert Browning, Snowsfields, Surrey Square and Tower Bridge primary schools.
It was good to support their campaign, though I hope to be part of a future Labour Government that ends child poverty and hunger.
The last Labour Government legislated to abolish child poverty by 2020. The Tories (and Lib Dems in Coalition) scrapped that plan and have allowed child poverty to soar.
