Less than two years ago the Tories won an 80 seat majority. But their manifesto promises have been torn apart despite their massive majority.

They promised not to: cut the size of our armed forces; maintain international aid; keep free TV licenses for pensioners; and not to raise taxes for working people.

All have been broken now, with tax being hiked to pay for the damage a decade of Tory cuts has done to the NHS and social care services.

The Tories are now also trying to rig democracy to retain power.

You’re more likely to win the national lottery than be impersonated at an election but taxpayers will foot a massive £120 million bill to make it harder for people to vote.

I will be voting against their nasty little Elections (Rigging) Bill this evening.
