It was great to be at the Rotherhithe Festival last weekend to hold a ‘pop up’ advice surgery and to help out on the Mayor of Southwark’s Common Good Trust charity stall. The Trust helps disadvantaged people in Southwark and every pound raised will go a long way!
After the lockdowns and so much disruption, it was brilliant to catch up with friends, the safer neighbourhood police team, and great local organisations at the festival like the Southwark Pensioners Centre, Time and Talents, the Proper Blokes Club, the Cherry Garden Pantry, and the new Rotherhithe Roosters boxing club.
Well done all involved, especially Southwark Council for continuing to support this fun day out for local families.
