The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has announced that the campaign I have been running with the All-Party Parliamentary Wine and Spirits Group (which I co-chair) to avoid the UK imposing hefty costs on importing wines has been successful!
It is great news that this means the bureaucratic Government plans will now be scrapped altogether, after having previously successfully campaigned to have them suspended until July 2021.
I’m glad Minister have thought again and proud to have worked alongside the Bermondsey-based trade association to achieve this great result.
