Labour performed well in some elections last Thursday, despite the loss of Hartlepool. Labour won five of seven ‘metro mayor’ races; won our equal best result in Wales; and won seats in councils including Kent and Oxfordshire.
In Southwark, we saw great results for Sadiq Khan who won 51% of the vote, and gained our new London Assembly member Marina Ahmad.
