I join with the whole country in mourning the sad passing of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
My condolences are with the Queen and the Royal Family who have lost a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
For the last seven decades he has served the country and Commonwealth with distinction.
His dedication to the Queen and their marriage has been constant in an ever-changing world. Our monarch has lost her dutiful partner, our country has lost a diligent servant and Prince Philip will be greatly missed by people across the globe.
