I am proud to serve a community in Southwark which has such strong ties to Nigeria. I have watched with horror at the events unfolding in Lagos, following ongoing protests.

I wrote to the Foreign Secretary, calling for the UK Government to condemn the apparent violence by security forces against peaceful protestors.
