Yesterday the Tories voted to deny help to children going hungry. They used their majority to inflict an injustice and prevented Marcus Rashford’s call for free school meals to be provided over the holidays.

I spoke in the debate to pay tribute to the many fantastic organisations we are lucky to have locally in Southwark who are fighting against food poverty.
