Today I spoke and voted against these regulations. The BMA represents NHS workers and is challenging the Government plans in the courts as they as they erode contractual rights and even tribunal awards. The TUC, Unison, LGA and others all oppose the plans but Ministers who previously applauded health and care workers every Thursday are now contemptuously cutting their pay and conditions.
