I co-chaired a meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Ending Homelessness. We discussed council efforts to get rough sleepers off the streets during the pandemic. We also recognised that the Government has belatedly accepted our amendment to provide a safe home, long-term for people fleeing domestic violence.

We will continue to press the Government to refund councils for providing help to all rough sleepers under the ‘Everyone In’ initiative as Ministers are reneging on their commitment to reimburse all costs.
