Today marks the 10th international ‘world homeless day’. Since 2010 we have seen annual rises in homelessness and it was recently revealed two homeless people died every day last year. It is a national shame that as one of the richest countries in the world we are unable to properly support the most vulnerable in our communities.

Today I visited Depaul, an international charity dedicated to fighting young people’s homelessness which originally started here in London. I met with them at their national headquarters which is based just off Tower Bridge Road to discuss their new support service in Southwark and how this work can tie in with the work of the APPG for Ending Homelessness.
