The war in Yemen has gone on for far too long. Many local people have contacted me to raise their concerns at the UK’s role in supporting the Saudi-led coalition which is fighting in Yemen and appears to have bombed multiple civilian sites.

I have written to the new Foreign Secretary to ask for clarification of what the UK is doing to prevent airstrikes on civilian facilities as well as urging the Foreign Secretary to suspend arms sales to the Saudi-led coalition following the UK Supreme Court’s ruling in June this year that previous weapons sales to Saudi Arabia were illegal.
