Southwark’s Labour council is leading the way in tackling the housing crisis, building 11,000 new genuinely-affordable, high-quality council homes over the next 20 years. If we had a Labour Government nationally, we could go so much further, just as the post-war Government of Attlee did.

Labour is the only party committed to resolving the housing crisis and our plans include building 300,000 new homes a year, 100,000 of which will be at council rents. To read more about all Labour’s housing plans please visit here.
