Yesterday in Parliament I raised a case on behalf of Sharon St John, who lives in Walworth, with a Foreign Office Minister in the Commons. Sharon’s son Adrian was killed in Trinidad and Tobago in April 2016 and three years on a trial date has still not been set.

I have been raising concerns about the unacceptable delays in the legal process and urging the UK Government to pressure the authorities in Trinidad ever since Sharon contacted me shortly after Adrian’s murder. Sharon deserves justice for her son and I will continue to do everything I can to make sure she gets it without any further delay.
