The Prime Minister claims the only path available to the UK is her pathetic proposals. She is insulting people’s intelligence: over 900,000 people, including 4,000 locally, have already signed a petition calling on Parliament to revoke Article 50 to protect our country from more damage. 

Today I highlighted the petition in the Commons and asked the Government to provide time to discuss revoking Article 50 before March 29th (see video below). May’s divisive, dangerous speech yesterday represents a new low for an already embattled and weak Prime Minister. She should revoke Article 50 or at least have the courage to put her proposals to the people with an alternative option to remain in the EU. You can still sign the petition to revoke Article 50 here.
