In Venezuela, the corrupt, authoritarian regime of Maduro has forced millions of people to flee as refugees. Locally, we have a huge Latin American community worried about what is happening in Venezuela and the consequences for other countries. I have been contacted by people who are very worried about the impact this will have on their family and friends in Colombia where a million Venezuelans are already refugees. I pressed the Government to do more to prevent the situation getting worse in Colombia and Venezuela in Parliament today.
