I have been dealing with some horrific antisocial behaviour across Bermondsey, Rotherhithe and Walworth. It is hugely damaging to the people affected and can ruin lives if not dealt with quickly. The last nine years have seen Southwark police lose over 400 officers and PCSOs and our council has lost millions of pounds in Government cuts since 2010.

The police, councils and other landlords need greater resources and powers to properly tackle antisocial behaviour but the Home Office sadly had no new commitments in response to my question today (see below). People will continue to suffer until the Government acts.
