Despite inaccurate claims to the opposite, the Government will force 1.6 million people onto its failing Universal Credit system this year.

I’ve written to the DWP to ask why the Universal Credit training centre (the London Bridge job centre) sent a vulnerable man with no heating or electricity away with nothing. They did not even mention an ‘advance payment’ loan of future benefits. This is appalling treatment from an uncaring system.
